With better life, we are having more requirements for electronic products that from simplify to specific and variety. It's caused more and more factories are trying to diversify its range of products and this is going to be the most important characteristic of EMS. How to improve the WIP inventory management is a great competition for all companies. But the really condition is, that the WIP inventory level is always too high to make more profit and shorten the production lead time. We are doing very hard working and paying very high cost for the delivery, the defective products, and excess scrap. Especially for manufacture, we can't even to say making-money. So, how to set up the indicator to tracking our cost and inventory level is the key to make our cost and inventory more reasonable.Based on the summary of the international theory of WIP control and link up the MRP II push mode, JIT pull in mode , the concept of TOC and the identification of bottleneck process, we put forward the"pull mode"which before the bottleneck process and"push mode"after the bottleneck process for production control. In order to minimize the production and inventory cost, we need to calculate the batch of production and delivery in every period of bottleneck process. Then we take M company as an example to test and verify the feasibility and reliability for my topic mode, it's obviously showing us the improvement and effective in keeping the most reasonable inventory and production batch.
