Research On Standardized Methods Of Time Quota For The Manufacturing Process Of Multi-varieties & Small-batch Products

Due to the complexity of production process caused by diversity of product categories in the muti-varieties and small-batch production mode, the current time quota methods are very difficult to apply to the time quota management of products in the muti-varieties and small-batch production mode. To solve this problem, this paper makes a deep study on the method of standardization of time quota for multi-varieties & small-batch products with the theoretical guidance of Group Technology and Time Study which comes from Fundament of Industrial Engineering, and verifies the effectiveness of the method by a specific object, hydraulic cylinder. The research contents of this paper mainly include:(1)Due to the diversity of the process of muti-varieties and small-batch products, this paper studies how to carry on a reasonable classification in order to improve the efficiency of time measurement and avoid the repeated work, and takes the production process of the cylinder of hydraulic cylinder as an example. This paper establishes the associate matrix of the parts, machines and processes, and uses the clustering analysis software, SPSS, to sort products into groups to form the characteristics of the various parts family.(2) Due to the complexity of the process of muti-varieties and small-batch products, this paper studies that how to carry on a reasonable classification of the machining process in order to determine a reasonable quota method and improve the accuracy of time measurement. This paper applies the route of group technology to establish the composite crafts route of the similar products by the deep analysis of the process crafts of cylinder, and chooses the method of time measurement for each process of the composite crafts route according to its process characteristics to complete the work of time measurement and data analysis.(3) Due to the uncertainty of operators during time measurement of multi-varieties & small-batch products, this paper proposes a set of systematic process to realize the standardization of time quota for the manufacturing process of multi-varieties & small-batch products through research and applies group technology cards and group processes cards to achieve a unified management of time measurement of products family in order to achieve a timely inquiry and correct calculation of time quota.
