This thesis discusses that corporations have social responsibilities in terms of environmental protection by applying some research approaches such as questionnaires, inductive approach and positivist approach, referring to the latest domestic and international research results of corporate culture and utilizing domestic and international successful cases and experience of corporate cultural innovation. Corporate culture, as a means of pro-people culture, promotes the development of corporation by bring harmony among members. With the increase of green demand from staff, clients and public, corporate culture is required to develop further to be green corporate culture, so as to build good relations with its stakeholders. ISO14001 is a basic institutional basis of green corporate culture, which can promote green production and marketing. The construction of green corporate culture is one important aspect to lead corporations to build core competence in the 21st century.There are five chapters in this thesis: The first chapter introduces the background, theories and significance of my research, discusses the relationship between the green corporate culture and ISO14001. The second chapter investigates the implementing status of ISO14001 and the forms of corporate culture in China's corporations, and summarizes the existing problems of corporate culture in China's corporations by utilizing inductive approach. The third chapter discusses that ISO14001 should be the institutional basis in China's corporations through the positivist approach, and designs the evaluation model of green corporate culture. The fourth chapter points out the approaches to building green corporate culture in China's corporations. The fifth chapter points out further prospects of the application of the two main conclusions of this thesis in environmental management of China's corporations.
