Chain businesses have a long history and more research in our country. But studies of drug retail Chain are less. After China joined in WTO and national hospitalization insurance system innovated, drug retail is more and more furious.The author researched a larger state company, as she work for, which is engaged in drug retail Chain, to help and advice for domestic chain drugstores development in the future.Firstly, the study introduces conception of chain business and its characteristic. The author illustrates American drugstores development, compare and analyses relevant research of domestic and international drug chain business contrastively in current situation. Then combining Potter's The Five Forces Model, adopt VRIO analysis technical frame and enterprise value chain theory to analyze Peace Drugstores competition key cores. The recombination SWOT analysis, exhaustively elaborated the Peace Drugstores strategy reforming countermeasure choice as well as the Peace Drugstores value chain management and the chain management strategy. It emphatically analyze Peace Drugstores' support system of Chain business stratagem (e.g. marketing, distribution, suppliers alliance, information system, human resource, brand), and its implementation strategy (e.g. stratagem of brand, enterprise culture construction, Business Process Recombination (BPR), cost control strategy, quality assurance strategy, customers loyalty development), to attempt to find a benefit trend about implementation Chain business stratagem. Finally, the study addresses some questions still exist in implementation of Chain business stratagem and give some feasible advice.
