The Positive Analysis Of Stratified Economic Development In Pan-RRD

Pan-RRD which is composed by Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan as well as HongKong & Macao Special Administrative Region is an independent sub-economy system and an obvious manifest of stratified development of the national economy. What the economic condition, natural resource, development level and industry hierarchy are disequilibrium and economy hierarchies are obvious. Taking the stratified economic development as the analysis framework and 9 provinces'economic systems as the research unit, this dissertation applies a positive analysis on stratified economic growth of Pan-RRD to prove stratified economic growth theory.The paper has mainly used normative and positive analysis, and comparative research method etc. and the conclusion meets anticipated objective. Some new thoughts of this paper maybe summarized as follows: applying stratified economic growth theory frame to carry on hierarchy division of 9 provinces in Pan-RRD, exploring the stratified development so as to attempt a new angle of view in region economic cooperation development study; expanding stratified economic growth theory to the region economic development study in order to offer another new positive result.There are 6 chapters, including 4 major parts.The first part elaborates the research background, purpose, content and structure, basic concepts and literature, etc. Chapter1, 2 included. The literature shows its academic value and practical significance to search optimum development path that of Pan-RRD by the way of positive analysis.The second is Chapter 3 which carries on theoretical reasoning and case study. The result shows that economic hierarchy objectively exists by the logical recursion of hierarchy of needs, industries and economy. Then it can be concluded that the more growth is possible by implementing different strategies in different hierarchies, through the cases of Taylor's'iron experiment'and'shovel experiment'and China reform & opening-up etc. Meanwhile and what the economy hierarchy always affects on GDP of a state or region is testified.The third part includes Chapter 4 and 5. The results indicate that hierarchies in Pan-RRD economic development exist. Then the factor contributions (labor, capital and technology progress) in 9 provinces for year 1991-2004 are calculated utilizing Solow model. By group average method and considering adjusting labor & capital only, the economic growth of Pan-RRD can be divided into 3 hierarchies. The first includes Guangxi, Sichuan, Fujian and Hunan which capital contribution rate is high; the second are Guangdong, Yunnan and Guizhou which technology contribution rate is high and labor contribution rate...
