Recently, the persistent airworthiness management has been successively carried out in various aviation companies. This plays a significant role in implementing regulations of persistent airworthiness, ensuring flight safety, and yielding good economic returns. However, a pronounced gap still exists as compared with the advanced airworthiness management in foreign countries. Due to the intensive competitions in the international aviation market, the domestic aviation companies have to fill up the gap, thereby surviving in the competitive environment, and, subsequently, achieving an economic prosperity. Therefore, our aviation companies need to take"Safety First"as a precondition and, meanwhile, hold"Benefit is in Focus"as a business strategy, i.e., to optimize the security, the reliability and the economical efficiency. In the present paper, the safety problems in the current aviation industry and the management performance of the domestic aviation companies were addressed from an angle of technical economy. The three major problems associated with the persistent airworthiness management, which is in terms of the maintenance of the persistent airworthiness management, the network operation of the persistent airworthiness management, and the bilateral collaboration in the airworthiness management, were analyzed in details. Several efficient strategies such as reliability maintenance, flight personnel management, aviation materials management, and network alliance were proposed, with an overall aim to ensure flight safety and, furthermore, maximize the economic performance of aviation companies.
