Research On Island Tourism Development Strategies Of Zhoushan City

As being able to make people incorporate natural, island tourism has attracted a large number of visitors in the world. Island tourism can help islands overcome their own narrow terrain, isolation and lack of resources adverse conditions for the revitalization of island countries' economies. It is good to the islanders to raise revenue. It can also break in the main industry of fishery as the single economic model and help island regions' economies to the path of sustainable development. In this context, island tourism development activities gradually rise. Island tourism industry irreplaceable status is decided by the uniqueness of island resources. However, the island tourism development differences from the mainland tourism development considerably are decided by the conditions of the islands' natural and historical developments.Currently, in view of the domestic study to island tourism more on the island tourism resources evaluation and less on island tourism regional integration, resort life-cycle and regional economic impact, the formulation of development strategies. This thesis has put these factors together and has instituted a scientific development strategy of Zhoushan City. Firstly, this thesis has introduced island tourism development background and the related concept of island tourism and tourism development strategies connotations. Combined with characteristics of island tourism resources, this thesis has evaluated the tourism resources and has presented tourism development SWOT analysis of Zhoushan City. On the basis of summing up the islands tourism destination interspace structure and resort life-cycle studies, this thesis has taken Zhoushan City for example to study systematically. At the same time, this thesis has also focused on the analysis of island tourism development to regionally social and economic development impact particularly on the impact of Zhoushan City. This thesis has put forward island tourism development strategies and countermeasures on Zhoushan City, including the strategic objectives of tourism development, strategies systems and strategic measures such as security system. The thesis is supposed to be instrumental and helpful towards island tourism development practices of every development and investment programs.
