Zhoushan Islands New District Based On The Pattern Of RMP Island Tourism Product Development

Being an important part of marine industry cluster, marine tourism has been the main trend of international tourism with widespread valuing and quickly developing at home and abroad. As the first theme of marine economy of national level, ZhouShan Islands New Zone has been a comprehensive reform test area of Zhejiang Province’s ocean tourism and the first batch of comprehensive reform pilot cities of the nationwide tourism. There is no doubt that the tourism of ZhouShan Islands New Zone is passing into an unprecedented golden and tactic opportunity period. However, the ocean tourism of Zhou Shan Islands New Zone is still at primary stage. The underexploitation in width and depth of ocean tourism products is obvious and the ocean tourism products haven’t formed a whole product pedigree. Only deeply digging the endowment of the island tourism resources and fully meeting the needs of the tourism market, Zhou Shan Islands tourism products continuously enrich and improve based on the existing tourism products.This paper can be divided into four parts from the structure. The first part is an instruction, describing the background and the significances of the research and the research status and methods. The second part is describing the concepts and basic theories of research and analyzing the guidance of the RMP mode to the development of ocean tourism ptoducts. The third part is analyzing the resource advantages, market need, product base of new zone to explore islands tourism products from aspects of the islands resources, tourist market, existing products,exampled by ZhouShan Islands New Zone. The fourth part is the focus of this paper. This part presents the development principles and strategies on how to explore the islands tourism products with the RMP mode being the development of products’ theoretical base. Also,try to optimize the spatial structure of islands tourist product,to consummate and deepen the tourism products pedigree, to plan out various tourism products and lines, to realize the sustainable development of islands tourism by re‐integrating and evaluating the islands resources of new zone, classifying and re‐constructing the tourist market.
