The competition for mobile handsets is becoming fierce these years along with the continuous increasing of the production capacity. The handsets manufacturers shorten the sale chain by providing their products directly to the chain store and shopping mall. On the other hand, together with the coming of 3G and development of value added services, the mobile operators attract and bind subscribers by providing them the "Mobile phone with own heart"- customized mobile phone on the requirement of the operators, this trend will affect the mobile phone industry deeply. So the wholesaler, who is an important part in the mobile industry chain, meet serious challenge and threat. This paper, making a study to the market strategy of a wholesaler on this background especially the customized mobile phone, will be helpful to a wholesaler for utilizing enterprise resource and advantage to enhance competition strength in the market.Beginning with the competitive environment analysis of mobile phone industry, the dissertation make a detailed analysis to the distribution business of the mobile phone wholesaler by adopting SWOT analysis model and combining the business experience in domestic and oversea market. Based on it, the dissertation brings forward a developing strategy for the mobile phone wholesaler and makes a suggestion for its detailed implementation.
