With the information technology and economics rapidly developing, enterprises are confronted with increasingly fierce market competition. The intense market environment requires enterprises to respond quickly, accomplish efficiency and low-cost, and in greatest scope integrate the resources that the enterprises need to improve competitiveness. Under such circumstances, virtual team comes into being.Improve enterprise virtual team performance is the key of the decision that virtual team succeed or fail. In the late nineties of the 20th century a small number of scholars at home and abroad began to study the issue of virtual team performance. The thesis mainly used standardized research methods to theoretically construct a virtual team performance analysis framework.First of all, this thesis discussed the distinguishing feature and superiority of enterprise virtual team, put forward two formulas for virtual degree and told us that people easily fall into three traps: performance as result, performance as act, the performance as capacity when they define enterprise virtual team performance. Inspired by the theory that performance is act as the manifestations of the result, we defined enterprise virtual team performance as factors that impact virtual team performance.Second, this thesis advance that leading model , trust , culture and communication are important factors that affect the performance of virtual team. The thesis advanced three models of leading enterprise virtual team, and discussed how to choose them .to enhance virtual team performance in the different stages of the life cycle of virtual team; We built a model that is how virtual team communication media affects performance. In the model, we gave equal performance curve to illustrate how the rich degree and use frequency of communication media impact virtual team performance.Finally, on the premise of analyzing challenges that performance of enterprise virtual team is confronted with, we proposed strategies to improve enterprise virtual team performance.
