Red tourism resources in South Jiangxi are the historical treasure which left from the second civil revolutionary war with distinctive characteristics and potential advantages compared to the other red tourism resources in China. They hold a stable historical position. Since the establishment of new China, many domestic and foreign travelers often make a pilgrimage to South China. And the red tourism is developing from institution type to market type. New red tourism is the product of revolutionary spirits and modern tourism economy. It is also the product of education idea of revolutionary tradition and industrial idea of the tourism. The local government and the tour enterprises grasped the opportunity to develop the red tourism. Under the virtue of the local advantages, the tourism comes to mature gradually. South Jiangxi is seeking a way to the market and has cumulated practical experience. It successfully prompts the economic development of South China. South Jiangxi has provided a typical experience of solving the practical problems for the development of red tourism in our country. The experience is of theoretical and realistic importance to the red tourism in China.
