The Concept Of Economic Cooperation Of Chongqing Hinterland Of The Three Gorges Reservoir Area

Today, accompanied by the globalization of the world economy and the general trend of regional economic integration, anywhere can not protect their own economy through closed economies, and further development. Only through an open economy and synergy and integration with other areas can truly achieve win with each other, and thus obtain faster and greater development. As for the Three Gorges reservoir, after more than 10 years of development and construction of immigrants, although great achievements have been made, we are also facing serious development environment. The reservoir area population, migration is huge, economic backwardness, and closed fragile ecological environment, the development of self-sufficiency objective reality, with the rapid economic development of Chongqing, Chongqing reservoir area and the main urban economic gap is great. Therefore, this article proposed reservoir area should also conform to the trend of economic development, and adopt joint development and jointly promote the hinterland of reservoir area of economic development, and settle the population, resources, and environmental development of hinterland of reservoir area, which will have major strategic significance for the hinterland of the reservoir area, for Chongqing and for the Yangtze River valley and for the development of the whole country.Given the study of current regional economic cooperation have more concentrated in large regional joint between the city such as regional or national or continental, this article attempts to the research of regional cooperation in the underdeveloped areas, namely the regional cooperation was proposed in Three Gorges reservoir region, and promote economic development by leaps. This article is based on the idea, first of all analysed economic situation of three district of Wanzhou, Yunyang kaixian in the hinterland of reservoir area and found the gap of the level of economic development and common problems between the three districts. On the basis of this analysis, this article made feasibility analysis from the three districts strategy background, the significance of cooperation, and problems of cooperation in regard to the possibility of cooperation. Then this article used the successful experiences of regional economic cooperation from abroad to domestic for reference, and the conclusions presented here, and made corresponding policy and recommendations.
