Construction And Route Choice Of Regional Tourism Cooperation Mode In Sino - Burmese Border Economic Cooperation Zone

Under the wave of economic globalization and regional economic integration,different forms of regional cooperative organizations have gradually been foundedbetween different countries and regions, and this process of cooperation has beenaccelerated through signing a number of bilateral or multilateral cooperationagreements. Regional cooperation has become a hot topic all around the world and avital tendency of future economic development. As the easiest part to implement andpromote during regional cooperation, regional tourism cooperation has become amain focus because of its industrial co-movement, extraversion and internationalism.Since China’s entry into21st century, its process of regional tourism cooperation hasgradually been accelerated, especially in participation of international regioncooperation. The deepening construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, GreaterMekong Subregion, Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor,combined with the implementation of the opening-up policy in China, makes wideborder area in Yunnan transfer its state of regional economic blind angle intoforward position of opening up. Hereby, this paper focuses on the key area of borderareas in Yunnan province, Ruili border economic cooperation zone and Wandingborder economic cooperation zone in China-Myanmar border area, to explore thepattern and path of the regional tourism cooperation in China-Myanmar border areasthrough highlighting the geographical advantages of the border, popularityadvantages, tourism resources complementary advantages, and the radiation drivingeffect of the port.This paper can be divided into six parts. The first part is an introduction tobackground and significance of this research, defining the concept and scope ofresearch object. In the second part, this paper states the theoretical basis of thisresearch and present situation of research both at home and abroad. The third partdeeply summarizes advantage conditions and dilemmas of regional tourism cooperation in the China-Myanmar border areas by collecting date and literature andthis part also analyzes current situation of China-Myanmar regional tourismcooperation through analyzing the development history of border economiccooperation zone and China-Myanmar regional tourism cooperation. The fourth part,on the basis of summarizing domestic existing cooperation mode, based on thecharacteristics of the region and stage of development, from two visual angles ofspace structure and cooperation main body, explores the main mode of regionalspatial structure and the building of cooperation main body. The fifth part, from theperspective of government and enterprise, expounds the path that should be chosento promote regional tourism cooperation. The sixth part is the summary of the fulltext, listing the conclusion and the deficiency of this paper, and the future of theresearch is forecasted.
