| Accompanied by socio-economic development and the progress of human civilization, people plays an increasingly important role in the development of society, organization and enterprise. Many experts and scholars, business managers begin to invest a great deal of energy to the study of human thought and behavior. With the rapid development of the people first management in the western academia, the development of economy has been greatly accelerated in practice. The academia in our country has done a great deal of research on people-first management, however, the enterprise is still in the exploration stage. From the point of view of theoretical study, there is no unified factor system about the content of people-first management. Due to the lack of correct and systemic theory, people-first management still remains in the slogan level, no practical progress has been made in many enterprises. In this thesis, we hope to construct the whole factor system about the content of people-first management, use these factors to scale actuality of people-first management in enterprises, find the main problem and provide solutions to enterprises by studying the concept on people-first management of enterprise staffs. To realize this goal, the author investigated eight enterprises in depth by questionnaires and interviews, 231 questionnaires have been sent out. In order to make the findings more scientific and targeted, the staffs who fulfilled the questionnaires have been classified into state-owned enterprise staffs, foreign capital enterprise staffs and private enterprise staffs, male staffs and female staffs, young staffs and middle-aged staffs, staffs with academic class degree or below, staffs with undergraduate academic degree and staffs with postgraduate degree, managers or common staffs. The following conclusions have been drawn:First, factors system about the content of people-first management have been partied into five dimensionalities: meeting staff development needs, creating a harmonious interpersonal relations, caring staff, motivating employees, respecting for employees personality. Through analysis of the status in quo about the people-first management in enterprises, it is found that this factor system can identify the people first management status quo in enterprises.Second, through analysis of the people-first management status quo in enterprises, it is found the status quo is in "general" level.
