Performance appraisal is a formal appraisal system for employees, and also a communication activity between managers and employees. It combines efficiently every parts of human resource management. It is the core of human resource management. Establishing an efficient performance appraisal system is the core for companies to surive and develop and even obtain the competitive advantages. In china, a lot of companies are managed by experience and the management on employees is traditional. How to exploit and make use of human as a kind of resource and how to inspire the employees' enthusiasm and initiative to obtain efficient performance management is the hard core of modern corporation management and the most important responsibility of managers.On basis of analyzing the related theories, we researched the performance appraisal in Aisidi Company. This paper can be divided into these parts: First, we introducded the related theories and approaches on performance apprasial. It includes the development of performance appraisal theory and the methods of performance appraisal. Second, we did many researches and analysed the situation of the performance appraisal in Aisidi Company. Third, we analyzed the problems of performance appraisal in Aisidi Company. Last, we put forward the improving project to solve the current problems in the performance evaluation.We hope to help readers understand generally on performance appraisal. We also hope to give reference to firms in establishing scientific and perfect consummate performance appraisal system.
