The Functions Of Chamber Of Commerce And Its Operating Mechanism Study

This paper had an analysis to the causes of chamber of commerce being urgently pushed to develop in China,and had illustrated its unique functions while comparing with other two sectors of society—government and enterprises; from the features of chamber of commerce and on the base of conclusion from all kinds of study findings, this paper also summarized the service functions of chamber of commerce for member, government and society, and reached the result by cross-sectional demonstration of the operating mechanism of chamber of commerce and relative case study: the functions of chamber of commerce is to bridge between government and enterprises and to construct as triangle of harmonious society. For the purpose of fulfilling and improving the roles of chamber of commerce, certain good exterior environment and inner reform is required, in addition, chamber of commerce should construct a relationship network, make regulations, improve self-governance and build up credit to make great contributions to government, enterprises and society; Meanwhile, chamber of commerce should also face the testing of market economy, to encounter and correct its problems and old faults, government ministries shall be clear how to deal with the mechanism reform of chamber of commerce, to provide strong support for better performance of the roles of chamber of commerce.In the paper, Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce was taken for an example to implement case analysis of the roles and operating mechanism of chamber of commerce.As one group member of Chinese chamber of commerce, Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce followed the steps of local economic development, responded to the voices of enterprises, on the base of all-round works being running functionally and smoothly, it should follow the principle of service and improvement,to pay more efforts in exterior integration,inner reform and developing key functions to play itself roles and confirm to the increasing-requirements of Chinese industries.
