Research On The Logistics System Based On Textiles And Garment Industry Clusters

At present, the advantages of the industry clusters effects have been increasingly gaining concern. Cluster strategy has become an important mode for enterprise development and district development. Textiles and garment industry of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian and other seaside areas formed industries cluster that focus on producing certain products. And textiles and garment industry is one of the most competitive industries. This paper analyzes the competition advantages of textiles and garment industry clusters through the Porter diamond model, and illuminates that the cost is the mainly advantage for competition. The sound development and the exertion of the creation of textiles and garment industry clusters need support from advanced logistics. It is important to combine the textiles and garment industry clusters with the advanced logistics and to establish an advanced logistics system according with the requirements of district economy development of spinning and ray trade. By analyzing the relations among industries cluster, advanced logistics and district economy development, this paper has illustrated that it is feasible to establish a district logistics system basing on the textiles and garment industry clusters.By investigating the textiles and garment industry clusters and logistics requirements of Changshu as well as analyzing the logistics basic establishment, location conditions and so on, this paper has put forward a framework for establishing district logistics system according to the facts of the current textiles and garment industry clusters.
