Research On The Synergy Between Industrial Clusters And Regional Logistics

With the developmental forms of regional economies constantly changing, industrial clusters have become the strategic decision for promoting regional economies strength and competitiveness in many countries or regions. The formation and development of regional logistics are based on the regional economies, and have become an important factor for the sustainable development of the local industry clusters. Therefore, researches on the connection between industrial clusters and regional logistics are related to not only the developmental status and trend of regional economies, but also the way to improve competitiveness of enterprises in clusters. So, this paper selects the shoes and clothing industry of Quanzhou as research object, and uses synergy theory and game theory to analyze the synergic relationship between industry clusters and regional logistics. The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly, explaining the synergic relationship between industry cluster and regional logistics from both macro and micro perspectives. From the macro perspective, the industrial clusters and regional logistics promote each other, which raise the competitiveness of regional economies. From the micro perspective, using game theory model to analyze the longitudinal collaboration between logistics enterprises and production enterprises and the transverse collaboration between logistics enterprises, which to explain the synergic motivation of industry clusters and regional logistics.Secondly, using synergy theory to establish the synergic degree model of industrial clusters and regional logistics, and which is used to measure the synergic effects of industrial clusters and regional logistics.Thirdly, combining with the shoes and clothing industry cluster and regional logistics of Quanzhou and analyzing their synergic relationship and degree, and then concluding that the causes of low synergy is the lack of third-party logistics and supply chain coordination.Finally, proposing the solutions to improve the synergic relationship and degree between the shoes and clothing industry cluster and regional logistics of Quanzhou.
