Energy is an important strategic resource for a nation's military security and economical development. The energy security does concern national strategy at multiple levels, such as national security, national interest and foreign strategy; the more important is that it is also an international strategy concerning international energy supply & demand, and geopolitics. With more and more countries focusing on it, the strategy of energy security, as the core of national economic security, is becoming an important component of national security strategy. Judging from the world energy situation in recent years, the role played by OPEC (short for The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) controlling the world oil gas situation, has slightly dropped but its influence cannot be underestimated. On the contrary, the impact of Russia and Middle Asia-the Caspian Sea region is increasing. Moreover the development potential in Africa has attracted the world'attention. At present, the energy-consumption center is shifting to Asia-Pacific region, and the developing nations'demand in energy has been greatly increasing. In recent 20 years China and India are in huge need of energy resources due to their rapid economic development, which is a great challenge for the two countries'sustainable development and national security. Aiming at solving the increasing serious energy security problem, both countries have established their own energy-security internationalization strategies composed of energy diplomacy strategy, oversea exploration development energy strategy, security strategy of energy transportation channels, petroleum reserve strategy and international energy multilateral cooperation strategy. For the difference in geopolitics and historical backgrounds, their energy internationalization strategies vary in content and emphasis.Comparing the two nations'energy security strategies, we conclude that each of their strategies has their own strong points. And we can learn from India in some aspects. In order to execute and formulate our strategy, we should take the following measures: at first, we should enhance the cooperation with Russia and the countries in the central Asia-Caspian Sea region as well as in North Africa. Secondly, we should strengthen Chinese petroleum enterprises'international competence, and own multi-channels of transporting energy resources; Thirdly it is also important promote the system construction of energy resource. In addition, we must enhance multilateral cooperation in energy recourses worldwide. All in all, through taking the mentioned policies, we will be able surely to keep our country's economic development healthy and stable.
