High-tech Zone Development Evaluation Research

With the rapid development of science&technology revolution, some strategic high technologies have become more and more important for the social development and they also become vital for a country's comprehensive competence. It is the only way for our country to deal with the international competition to develop our own technologies. During this process, National High-tech Zone should play a role of spearhead.National High-tech Zones have passed the stage of finding their way for these years. Facing new situation, the government put up new demand for National High-tech Zone, that is Four-integrating-One, which including National High-tech Zone should become the carrier of promoting the technology progress, becoming the huge engineer of driving the adjusting of industry structure and the transferring of economy increase, becoming the servicing plat for enterprises to go to the international market, becoming the frontier of seizing high-technology industry.In this paper Four-integrating-One will be taken as the target to evalue the development of National High-tech Zone. Two methods, that is, Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis, will be used to to value all these 53 National High-tech Zones. And the situation of National High-tech Zones will be analysis on the base of the result. At the end of this paper Taiyuan High-tech Zone was taken as a case to be analysed practically.
