The Application Research About Project Management Of ERP Project In Cigarette Factory

After China's entrance into the WTO, the cigarette factories in China have applied ERP project one after another, in order to confront the competition of foreign cigarette giants' enterence in China, taking advantage of ERP to combine the resource of enterprise, optimize production process, improve competition power of enterprise. However, because of the poor project management level, the progress of some cigarette factories' ERP project is unsmooth or even fail. cigarette factories are urgent need advanced management idea and management technology to solute cigarette factories' ERP project management problems. Confronting this situation, the article is trying to apply project management theories and methods into the cigarettes' ERP project, which has got a lot of important factual meaning and theorical meaning not only to improve the success ratio of the cigarette factories' ERP project, but also to promote project management theories and to improve cigarette industry's IT project and other projects.This article takes the C cigarette factory project as an illustration. First, on the basis of research about C cigarette factory' s ERP project and interviewing to the application people, this article gives an explicit description to the whole ERP project's application process and the general condition at present. Then, from the theories of the project management and the characters of ERP project, connecting the factual situation in C cigarette factory, this article deeply analyzes the problems in the application of ERP project, draws the conclusion: the main reason for the C cigarette factory's falling into difficult position is due to the shortage of scientific, effective management theories and methods, and the method to solute the problems in the C cigarette factory's ERP project is using effective project management to the project. Finally, from the standpoint of project management, this article proposes some solution methods and manipulatable measures to the existing problems in organizational structure, humanresource management, planning management, risk management in C cigarette factory's ERP project, in order to improve the application efficiency of C cigarette factory's ERP project, this article also hopes these methods and measures can be cited by other cigarette factories for the application of ERP project.
