Speeding up the shift of rural labor is the intrinsic request that agriculture develops and the farmer additionally receives in our country. This article has analyzed the question: present situation, the characteristic as well as difficult of rural labor shift in our country; pointed out that the existing pattern in our country---"shift in the countryside" and "shift to the city" has already not to be able to satisfy the request of rural labor shift in the present stage.
