With the rapid development of society and culture, the re-forging of operation flow, project managements become more and more important for modern enterprises, and gradually become important approaches to achieve their transformations. In recent years, the academia and the enterprise leaders have realized the necessity to manage their employees through project management. They begin to pay attentions to the behavior, attitude, technical ability of the personnel working in a given, and try to do some studies from a more flexible angle. Because technical essentials in project management have become mature comparatively, the researching object in this text focuses on Non-material Motivation. This text analyzes how to motivate the team and its members through the way of Non-material means.This text deems that using Non-material managing techniques and tools to carry out motivation, to obtain results and to achieve the project objects. Firstly, motivation and motivating theories are generalized from the angle of view of management and organization behavior. Then the analysis of the features of projects and the problems resulting from the process and environment referred to project management can bring us the value foundations and motivating principles. The features of motivation in project managements are brought out by the analysis of tools and techniques used in project managements. Finally, a case study on how to apply these ideas, techniques, and tools during management practice from GE Company will prove the practical significance of the Non-material motivation for the enterprises to achieve its transformation management and project management.
