Theoretic Framework Of Hainan CGE Model And Estimation Of The Parameters

Computable General Equilibrium Model (CGE), as a tool for quantitive policy analysis, has been proved to be considerably effective. The general equilibrium frame of CGE model enables it to describe interaction among many markets and structures, and evaluate direct and indirect effects arising from a policy change and overall impact on economy as a whole. From this perspective, the dissertation propounds theoretic framework of Hainan CGE model, prepares Hainan Social Accounting Matrix integrating Hainan's statistic data, forms an equilibrious and uniform data set, and on this basis constructs a CGE model referring to Hainan's six departments to next study impact of policy changes about exemption of agricultural tax for specific produces and further reduction of agricultural tax on Hainan's economic structure, producer welfare, consumer welfare, fiscal revenue and so forth, and provide certain theory and means for enaction, analysis and evaluation of provincial policy.The dissertation concludes six parts:The first part is preface, that is to say, the chapterⅠis introduction, which mainly introduces background of the topic, ascertains studying content, clarifies researching methods and main line, and explains innovative points of the study. The second part, chapterⅡ, summarily narrates CGE model, which mainly introduces production and development of CGE model, its theoretical foundation, characters, basic structure and application. The third part, chapterⅢ, is the construction of Hainan CGE model, that is to say, under guidance of the theory of constructing CGE model, brings about theoretical frame of Hainan CGE model considering Hainan's practical situation. The fourth part, made up of chapterⅣand chapterⅤ, chiefly introduces evaluation of parameters of CGE model and its computation. The fifth part, chapterⅥ, refers to achievement and prospect of the study.
