Research On The International Competitiveness Of Service Industry

The development level of Service Industry is an important sign of market economy. The development of Service Sector depends on its competitiveness. Based on the difference of service industry and manufacturing industry, this paper emphasizes the industry feature and combines the international service industry competition theory, analyzes the quality, origin, determination, evaluation methods of international competitiveness in service sector. Firstly, this paper analyzes the determination factors of international competitiveness in service industry from five aspects: manufacturing stuff, demand, correlative industry, corporation strategy and government. Then, the paper set up the rough-set model so as to analyze the evaluation index system of competitiveness in service industry. Then, the paper applys the evaluation theory and model to the Empirical Research of international telecom industry, and compares the telecom industry competitiveness between developed countries and developing countries so as to point out the key factors in boosting the telecom competitiveness of developing countries and find the weakness of China telecom industry. Finally, the paper puts forward some advances on the basis of analysis above.
