Transportation industry occupies an important position in China's national economy,and its driving capacity for the economy has always been recognized by the society.Shaanxi Province is an important transportation hub Province in the western region,and the transportation industry plays a more important role in the national economy.However,the actual situation is that the transportation industry in Shaanxi Province is still in the stage of industrialization and its competitiveness is not strong.Therefore,using the evaluation and analysis method of the theory of industrial competitiveness to find out the best characteristic variables affecting the competition of the transportation industry in Shaanxi Province is very important to enhance the competitiveness of the transportation industry in Shaanxi Province and promote the development of the transportation industry.This paper chooses Shaanxi Province's transportation industry as the main research object,mainly adopts the research methods of comparative analysis,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Firstly,the Porter Diamond Model in the theory of industrial competitiveness is used to analyze the traffic industry.In view of the fact that the order of data is not strong and the value of data is different,the theory of "information entropy" and "rough set" are introduced.Secondly,according to the actual situation of transportation industry development in Shaanxi Province and the systematic and scientific principle of data processing,the evaluation index of transportation industry competitiveness is divided into four levels according to the analytic hierarchy process(AHP).Based on the concrete representation of six dimensions of diamond model,the evaluation index system is established.Then,in the process of data reduction and dimensionality reduction,noise reduction is processed for the unrecognizable and deletable index data,and six characteristic attributes are extracted to evaluate the industrial competitiveness.In the analysis of industrial structure stability,the coefficient of variation is introduced to analyze the dispersion degree of the six characteristic indicators.Through quantitative data analysis,it is concluded that compared with the developed provinces and cities in eastern China,the transportation industry in Shaanxi Province has a lower level of competition and a certain degree of structural stability,but compared with the eastern provinces and cities,the structure is unstable,and the individual evaluation dimension index data is higher,which has a greater development potential.In addition,through the analysis of the relationship between the competitiveness of the transportation industry and the stability of the industrial structure,it is concluded that the industrial competitiveness of the regions with strong stability of the transportation industry structure is also strong.Finally,according to the results of quantitative analysis,the paper puts forward the basic ways and specific countermeasures to enhance the competitiveness of Shaanxi transportation industry.The research results of this paper enrich and develop the basic theory of regional transportation industry competitiveness,provide theoretical basis and methodological basis for improving the competitiveness of Shaanxi transportation industry,and also play a positive role in the selection of evaluation indicators for provincial transportation industry competitiveness.
