A Research On The Harmony And Interaction Of Economy And Culture In The Sustainable Development Of Ecotourism

Ecotourism, started in 1980s, as an efficient practicable form to realize the sustainable development of tourism, it has gained the rapid development worldwide, for its features and functions, not only acclimate to the development of the new era, but also meet the current needs of tourists. The development of ecotourism, on one hand, brings the new life to the local tourism economy; on the other hand, accompanied by its advantages like boosting the economic and cultural development, it does cause a series of environmental and social problems meanwhile, which quickens up the damage of environment and the extinction of local features, thus, when it comes to those concerns, technically, it is not successfully to carry out the concept of sustainable development. It is a complicated project to realize the sustainable development of ecotourism, which is involved in many factors such as economy, culture, society, environment, polity, etc, and requires the harmonious developement of each subsystem in this system. Economy and culture, as the two of those important factors in the system, the former is like the material basis while the latter is like the core and soul. The harmony and interaction of their developments play a significant role in practising the concept and achieving the goal of sustainable development of ecotourism, which is also the research meaning of this thesis lies in.In this article , based on the theories of tourism, ecology, economics, sociology and the science of system, five parts are included:In the first chapter, the background of the theories and practices related to the thesis are elaborated in introduction;In the second and the third chapter, the two aspects — economy and culture, including the positive and negative in the tourism development, the measures to benefit to the realization of the aim are analyzed respectively.In the fourth chapter, how to really carry out the sustainable development in practice through dealing with the dialectic relationship between the development of economy and the protection of culture.In the fifth chapter, mainly some conclusions about the thesis and some problems left to deep study in the future.
