National Regional Tourism And Cultural Development Research

Since the initiation of the policies of reform and opening, China's tourism have a great development, from absolutely nothing to an enormous market, from small to large, from simply reception to outbound, inbound and domestic tourism. As all the three types of tourism are developing, China has achieved integrated development on tourism. With their abundant natural resources, magnificent natural beauty, splendid human landscape, colorful ethnic customs and other unique advantages, China's ethnic minorities regions positively participate in and accept the tourism development as their region's distinctive, competitive, poverty alleviation and people-enriching industry, it is key to the improvement of the social economy of ethnic minorities region, and is of ultimate importance to the cohesiveness and centripetal force of the China, it is of strategically significance to strengthen China's stability and prosperity.Tourism is a complex and comprehensive social phenomenon; both economy and culture are its important social character. In the process of economy-cultural integration, as a large industry of modern economy, the cultural character of tourism is becoming more and more prominent, so the further development and exploration of cultural character in ethnic minorities region's tourism, the cultivation of distinguishing cutural feature in tourist destination, all will be effective ways to achieve ethnic minorities region's sustainable development of tourism. Based on tourism activities' core character: culture, this thesis will have a discussion on the tourism-culture integration and further explore the vital effect of ethnic tourism culture pluralistic unity on the sustainable tourism development. But nowadays, ethnic minorities region's tourism exploration is mainly focused on commercial value, tourism culture has lost its independence position of distinctive culture and value orientation, it is subordinate to economic and political interest. This kind of irrational commercial value pursuit could only resulted in the neglect and lack of ethnic tourism culture pluralistic unity. "Culture gives tourism life; culture makes tourism prosperity; no culture, no tourism." The lack of attentiveness on the protection of tourism culture will definitely cause the decline of ethnic minorities region's tourism. To strengthen the exploration and protection of ethnic tourism culture pluralistic unity has become a very important project in ethnic minorities region's tourism development.This thesis uses basic tourism research method on preliminary theoretical study of tourism culture and tourism culture development. Together with tourist cultural subject, tourist cultural object and tourist cultural media, the protection and development of ethnic minorities region's tourism culture is considered to be a complicated and extensive systematical project. Therefore, we should insist on the guidance of sustainable tourism development viewpoint, comply with the principal of development and protection; combine the protection of ethnic minorities region's tourism culture with the development of ethnic minorities region; through the theme orientation, imagine design, product development, marketing management and other aspects, give a dynamical and overall strengthening on the development and protection of ethnic tourism culture pluralistic unity. At the end of the thesis, I choose Li Jiang's tourism culture development as a case study, I hope that we can benefit from the experiences of success and lessons of failure in Li Jiang's protection and development of pluralistic unity tourism culture, give inspirations to ethnic minorities region and even the whole nation on how to manage the development and protection of tourism culture in the exploration process. So we can achieve sustainable development of "Human-Nature-Society" ecological environment.
