Motivation is the core problem of human resource management in the present businesses, and the study on motivational factors is the most important. Based on the systematical review on relevant documents and in-depth analysis to motivational theories, this text took the empirical study on department managers' motivational factors in private enterprises, in order to improve motivational system and enrich the motivational theory.The author chose nearly one hundred department managers in private enterprises as research object, obtained relevant data through questionnaires, used SPSS software to go on statistical analysis and summarize to datum, and have drawn the following several main conclusions:First, Better method encouraging the department managers by means of income is to improve their post privilege and hold the volume of shares (including the stock option and carried interest); Second, Personal characteristic of the department manager (sex, age, rank, education degree,...
