Implementation Study Of Telecom OEM Supplier Development And Management Based On Supply Chain

OEM cooperation which compliant with Supply Chain Management based on current "Horizontal Integration" manufacturing model realized optimization and effective combination of social resource. Due to the big difference between OEM products and normal commodities, some people think China will benefit from OEM but some other people think it will bring negative impacts. Then there are many disputes on OEM, but author will support the first opinion. Under this case, how the multination corporate (brand company) to develop and manage the professional feasible suppliers in China market is a focus.In this dissertation, the author analyzed systematically on the particularity of OEM supplier compared with normal material supplier. In subsequence, based on the special property of OEM products, the author studied the unique attribute of OEM supplier development process; emphasized the consideration of hardware and software conditions when preliminary selection of supplier; described the more comprehensive, more critical general criteria on OEM supplier; explained the more reasonable and more scientific management requirements on OEM suppliers.In the following part of this dissertation, there is a practical case of Ericsson OEM supplier development and management. In this case, author introduced and made an analysis on Ericsson OEM sourcing process, general criteria on OEM supplier, supplier quality assurance plan(SQAP) and contingency business plan(BCP). The new qualitytools-DoE, FMEA, SPC, Capability Study and G R&R plays key role in Ericssonsupplier quality management. And contingency risk plan is also a critical to suppliers.
