Optimization Models For Selecting The Third-Party Logistics Service Provider

With the swift and violent development of economy, the enterprises need more and more third-party logistics service. However, the service ability of the third-party service provider can not all satisfy the enterprise, and the logistics out-souring enterprises have no scientific method to chose or plan the third-party logistics service provider. Based on the above-mentioned conditions, the dissertation gives a general commentary on the research carried out in relevant fields at home and abroad and put forward the optimization models for selecting the third-party logistics service provider by studying the enterprises.The main content of this paper can be described as follow:Firstly, in this dissertation, by employing fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methods to evaluate whether the enterprise suit to out-sour the logistics working to third-party logistics provider.Secondly, in this evaluation model of the third-party logistics service provider, a kind of selecting the third-party logistics service provider dynamic evaluation method with the character of stimulation is presented, embodying the stimulation for the supplier' performance improvement of different periods, in order to stimulate suppliers improve their performance and enhance the cooperation relationship between manufacturers and suppliers. Use a combination weighting approach considering the decision- maker's preference to the weighting methods and consistency degree of these weighting methods.Thirdly, building good relationship with important third-party logistics service providers and is very important to companies pursuing competitive advantage. An important third-party logistics service provider oriented approach to multi-goal programming is proposed in this paper. From the standpoint of logistics demanding enterprise, this approach divides the process of optimization models for selecting the third-party logistics service provider into two phases.
