The economic competition is actually talents' competition, it is a trial of strength of overall qualities of human resources , and that of resource distribution of manpower too. The human resources are the most important resources of enterprises and the most favorable competition capital. The task of manpower resources management is to offer qualified talents for the enterprise, give play to their potential ability, namely give full play to the positive role of the human resources for serving the enterprise. And the development of an enterprise relies on improving constantly the management of human resources and giving play to people's effective skill to the maximum extent, which, in turn, is also the final goal and task of manpower resources management. Therefore, the performance evaluation has become the core issue of business administration, especially of manpower resources management.I, the writer of this article, has been engaged in production management for more than ten years in the branch company of the petrochemical industry of Jinxi, and have witnessed the course of the system reform of branch company, which made me realized that the negative effect of the outdated performance management on the middle administrative staff as well as workshop supervisors. So it is the key issue for the company in priority to establish a set of the evaluation system of the performance of workshop supervisors in line with the strategic request of the company.The current situation of the evaluation system of the performance of the workshop supervisors in Jinxi petrochemical industry branch company is analyzed first in this article, and then it addressed the main problems it exists.
