Objective: On the basis of investigating the status background (baseline information) of Suzhou, establishing the indicator system of Healthy City in Suzhou.Methods: (1) Suming up the indicators of the internal and international Healthy Cities; (2) Forming the preliminary indicator system by research groups. (3)Pre-confirming the indicator system by Delphia way. (4) Investigating and analysing the indicator system feasibility and acceptability (5) Confirming the indicator system by experts consulting. Results: The indicator system of Healthy City in Suzhou has 122 items that is divided into 3 chapters. The key chapter have 10 items account for 8%. The implementation chapter have 105 items account for 86%. The development chapter have 7 items account for 6%.
