A Study On Promoting The Healthy Development Of Urban CBD In China

Central Business District (CBD) is the outcome of modern society. As the globalization of economy speeds up, CBD plays a more and more important role in economy development. Under this circumstance, many cities in our country put forward the construction of CBD in recent years. However, most of these plans do not show any rationality, and are bound to place heavy burden on the budget. In the meantime, the study of CBD are still very rare in China up to now, they can't function well as the guide to the actual work, and result in many problems. Therefore, discussions in this thesis were mostly based on practice in many cities, and concentrated on investigating the problems exist.In the first place, the thesis gives a brief introduction to CBD, including internal structure, scale, function of CBD and related theories, which serves as the foundation for the following discussions. In the second place, the author introduces the practice of some famous overseas CBD, and develops several useful experiences. Then, the thesis takes some discussions on four native CBD in China, which includes Shanghai, Peking, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, and investigates into the existing problems. In the end, the author puts forward some counterplans and suggestions in order to provide the guide to the development of CBD in China.
