Stady On The Planning Of Ancient Towns' Cultural Tourism

The trend in the future of tourism is ancient towns' cultural tourism which has a fine prospect. Based on the synthetically discussion on the planning for ancient towns' cultural tourism both in China and abroad , this paper, through theories such as sustainable development, the study of system and cooperation and cultural ecology and so on, applying methods such as reading literature, investigation and combine with programs, conducts an in-depth research on the theories and methodology systems of the planning for ancient towns' cultural tourism with an example of the planning for Shangli Ancient Town's tourism in Yaan Sichuan province. The results showed as follows:1. Part 1 establishes the theoretical framework of planning for cultural tourism, which includes definition, components, classification, principle, requirements, etc. This paper proposes a relatively consummate definition of cultural tourism and puts forward two important characters. First of all is the principle part of tourism whose motivation of tourism is to get cultural and mentally satisfaction, in the second place is the object of tourism which should be with high quality of culture.2. The purpose of the planning for Ancient Town's tourism is constructing a tour site, which possess plenty of historical information and folk-custom. The Ancient Town should be planned into a town incorporate with rivers, mountain, architecture and farmland. The Ancient Town should be a town local culture trait and leading the development of economy, culture and society.3. In addition to satisfy the principle such as market demand, esthetics and the unified of space benefit, economic benefits and society benefits, the planning for Ancient Town's tourism should also obey the principle as sustainable development, carrying capacity control, giving prominence to theme, originality and reality, participation of public and legal system insurance and so on. To emphasize the prior protection of the characteristic culture and cultural environment is in the first place of planning for Ancient Town's tourism and establish a well performance guideline to make sure the actualization of space benefit, economic benefits and society benefits.
