Study On The Supervision In Food Security In China

In present, accompanying the enhancement of the self-protect consciousness, people's requirement of food security has increased. But the events because of faking food or making pollution during the producing or marketing process and so on, which could hurt human being's health, have struck the alarm bell of the supervision in food security for society and government. Just as the basic attribute of food, the security has close relationship with the production, management and the administration system of quality on food. Being a developing country, China still has a relative long disparity to developed countries in food security that restricted by the economic basis, administration system, statute and technological specification.In 2004, the case about faked powdered milk in Fuyang of Anhui province had pushed forward further reforming in supervision of food security directly. Many local branches had formulated the administration modes for food accessing to market. But it's still weak in the systematical study about the food security supervision at basic level. In our country, the administration system for industry & commerce has double functional authority what is located in qualification and action of enterprise, and it still has some functional authority in intellectual property rights (trade-mark right). Thus, beside the special supervision of food security in circulated field, which is assigned by government, the department of the administration system for industry & commerce has the un-shirk responsibility to every component element in food production chain.Aiming directly at these reasons, we have studied the situation of food security supervision in our country. There are three parts in the thesis. First, in order to guide the subsequent research, the basic theory about food security supervision has been summed up. Second, we are to find out the problem in supervision of food security, to summarize the method of supervision and to raise the proposal in administration system.
