Now supply chain management has been a hotspot of academic and business circles. Under the condition of supply chain, the purchasing and supply management system regards network as the platform, resource management as the main content, suppliers management and coordinated operation as the focus. It is a modernized management mode. Through information sharing and information assembling the purchasing manager can optimize purchasing operation.It is of significance to improve ShiDe's purchasing effectiveness and raising management level. Utilizing the purchasing management theory of supply chain management we investigate the purchasing management system and solve the existing purchasing and supply problems of ShiDe Group.After making a comprehensive and systematical analysis of ShiDe's purchasing management strategy, we study purchasing organization, materials management method, purchasing operation flow and suppliers' management status. On this basis we put forward feasible suggestion to improve ShiDe's purchasing management level. All these based on the theoretical framework of purchasing management in supply chain management.The paper's research findings lie in utilizing supply chain management theory to put forward the feasible countermeasure and suggestion for ShiDe's existing problems in purchasing management.
