Research On Purchasing Management Of CG Company Based On Supply Chain

The manufacturing industry of our country plays an important role in the world,especially in the textile and garment industry characterized by labor intensive,which once made great contributions to the economic development of China in the two or three decades after reform and opening-up.However,with the development of science and technology and the integration of the global economy,Chinese manufacturing industry no longer has the advantage of low cost of labor and raw materials.Most of manufacturers face the challenges of survival and development.Under this background,enterprises pay more and more attention to improve their competitive advantage from the perspective of management.Management mode has been turned from the original vertical integration to horizontal integration,which causes the competition between enterprises turns to that between supply chains.Purchasing management,a critical part of supply chain management,plays an important role in the supply chain management.The cost of material has a high proportion in the productions of manufacturing enterprises,especially in low value-added clothing manufacturing factories.Purchasing management is particularly important.Under the supply chain mode,the efficient purchasing management can save the cost,create new profit and improve the competitive force.This thesis takes CG Company,specialized in manufacturing clothing and equestrian products,as the object of research and focuses on its problem of process and suppliers management.Some proposals are made correspondingly to improve the current status basedon the theory of supply chain,the purchasing strategy and supplier evaluation.According to the characteristics of CG companies and its products,using Kraljic Matrix to do reclassification of the materials and working out the suggestions of purchasing strategies to reduce the cost.Utilizing information technique to optimize the process to improve the efficiency.Using of AHP and fuzzy synthetic evaluation method to provide suggestions to improve the CG company in the supplier selection and evaluation.Finally,giving some suggestions to make sure the optimization program could be carried out and making a simple analysis to the expected results.CG Company,as an exported manufacturer producing textile and clothing,is to be representative in the field.Hoping the improvement measures of purchasing management in CG Company not only can solve their own problems,but also provide a reference to its counterparts in the field.
