Economic Performance Research On The Institutional Change Of The Yinzhou Rural Cooperative Bank

The Rural Credit Cooperatives (RCCS) take a very important role in the service for the farmers, agriculture and the country. In the past 50 years, RCCS have been experienced a lot of changes, which have achievements or mistakes. The RCCS' reforms have been forced by the government. The Yinzhou Rural Cooperative bank founded in April, 2003, whose property right is joint-stock and cooperative, and it has been admissive by the government. The paper will take the Yinzhou Bank for a case to study the economic performance of its institutional change. The conclusion will have important significance to the reform of the RCCS.The dissertation is composed of 4 parts.Part 1 consists of chapter 1 and chapter 2. According to the line of the Economic methodology, by reviewing the theory of system and institutional change, we ground for the dissertation.Part 2, which is chapter 3 too, analyzes the background of the Yinzhou bank's institutional change. It cuts in by the institutional imbalance, and analyzes the economic surroundings and the issues of the Yinzhou cooperatives. It describes the content of the reform.Part 3 consists of chapter4 and chapter 5, which are the emphases of the dissertation. Chapter 4 analyzes the economic performance of the institutional change from 2 aspects, one aspect is landscape orientation and the other one is portrait. In other words, it describes the economic performance by contrast to the Cixi cooperative in landscape orientation and to itself in portrait. Chapter 5 analyzes the property right and the corporate governance of the Yinzhou Bank, and wants to find the inherent balance system.Part 4 which is chapter 6 too, according to the frontal analysis, this part provides the detail method and some policy advices.The dissertation uses the method of case studying, and finds the performance is meliorating. The consummation of the corporate governance will take a long time.
