The Research On The Management Of State-owned Commercial Banks' Knowledge Capital

With knowledge-base economy times coming, the competitiveness between technology-intensive commercial banks depends more and more on knowledge capital owned by banks and banks' knowledge capita management level. At present, the state-owned commercial banks is reforming Joint - stock companies in our country, mainly aiming to solving the inefficiency problem which is lasting a long time in state-owned commercial banks, perfecting company's management and improving company's management level. So that it can form the company core competitiveness characterized by knowledge capital. Cultivation and promotion knowledge capital management level is becoming an important factor to judge whether a state-owned commercial bank reforms successfully or not.Resolving the management issue of commercial banks' knowledge capital, this article performs to study from the following aspects: based on the comprehensive elaboration of knowledge capital management theory, this article explains what is commercial banks knowledge capital and elaborates also several important appraisal methods of knowledge capital. Based on Skandia Navigator model, we aim at the characteristic of trades of commercial bank to reconstruct its knowledge capital worth assessment indicator system from the standpoint of data and information support, which the investigator outside corporation could obtain, and we use this indicator system make a quantitative assessment on the value of Four state-owned commercial bank knowledge capital. From the three components of the knowledge capital: human capital, organization capital, customer capital, we make a qualitative analysis on management status of state-owned commercial bank knowledge capital, and point out the three leading reason to make it inefficiency: the infirmness of intelligent thought of knowledge capital, prompting and restricting mechanism faultiness, the absence of match measure of knowledge capital. According as the results of quantitative assessment and qualitative analysis on state-owned commercial bank knowledge capital, we bring forward some counter measures to upgrade the management of state-owned commercial bank knowledge capital based on the three aspects: emphasis the intelligent thought of knowledge capital, emphasis prompting and restricting mechanism, emphasis match measure of knowledge capital.
