The accelerating process of economic globalization has made Chinese companies face more competitive pressure from the international market. How to maintain their own competitive advantages in the fierce international market competition environment and become invincible is the key issue in the development of enterprises. As a company-level improvement process, continuous improvement is an important strategy for companies to maintain their core competitiveness and is widely used in enterprise production management practices.Since the introduction of the management concepts of continuous improvement in the 1980 s,many domestic companies have adopted advanced production techniques.Although some domestic enterprises such as Huawei and Haier have achieved remarkable results through the implementation of continuous improvement activities, more companies have not achieved the expected success. The continuous improvement shows different results because of different social cultures and management methods between China and Japan. Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the driving factors and dynamic mechanisms of domestic enterprises' continuous improvement based on the social and cultural environment in which domestic enterprises are located and the characteristics of their own management methods. This paper analyzes and discusses the dynamic mechanism of continuous improvement of enterprises through empirical research.First of all,the related research is summarized and summarized, including continuous improvement, team performance and institutionalized change.Based on the literature review of continuous improvement, the driving factors of continuous improvement are identified.According to the characteristics of various driving factors and the possible relationship between these driving factors and continuous improvement performance, three research hypotheses are proposed.Based on the system thinking of "input-process-output" in team performance research and the related viewpoints of institutionalized change research,a theoretical model of continuous improvement dynamic mechanism is established.Secondly, using the empirical research method,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the quality management personnel of 11 factories affiliated to a large domestic manufacturing enterprise group.Based on the collected questionnaire data, the reliability and validity of the scale were analyzed and verified by SPSS20 software, and the structural hypothesis was constructed by AMOSanalysis software to test the hypothesis proposed in this paper. Finally, the following findings are obtained through hypothesis testing:(1)Performance review has a significant direct impact on employee commitment;normative adaptation and accepting change have a significant direct impact on employee commitment and the overall employee compensation;(2)Goal clarity have a significant impact on employee commitment through the mediation role of performance review, normative adaptation and accepting change;goal clarity have a significant impact on the overall employee compensation through the mediation role of normative adaptation and accepting change. Therefore, enterprises should pay attention to the institutionalizing change process in the implementation of continuous improvement activities and institutionalizing change measures such as performance review, normative adaptation and accepting change should be adopted,so that continuous improvement of enterprises can achieve the expected success.
