Lean Manufacturing Application In ESG

More and more companies start to learn and use Lean Manufacturing as strategy facing the huge pressure brought by drastic competition. The whole efficiency of company can be improved obviously through implement lean manufacturing. The improvement can be touched upon production operation, inventory control, working utilization, cost reduction, management strategy, etc. All the improvement can enhance the competitive strength and battle effectiveness. Lean manufacturing is recognized as one of the best manufacturing method in industrial company at present.The structure of this paper is following theory analysis, case analysis, ESG problem analysis and problem solving.In chapter 1, this paper reviews the origin, character, development of Lean Manufacturing and the advantage of lean manufacturing compare with traditional volume-produce production. In chapter 2, it is the summary of lean thinking and its five basic principles and seven wastes in manufacturing company. In chapter 3, it is Lean Manufacturing's spread course and some successful case in China companies. The detail implement Lean Manufacturing in Motorola ESG is described in chapter 4 and the problem occurred and solved is described in chapter 5. Finally in chapter 6, it is a summary about Lean Manufacturing implement and ESG next improvement plan to implement Lean Manufacturing continuously.
