A Study Of Logistics Outsourcing Decision: From Core Competence View

The companies have to focus on core competence to maintain their advantage as the competition become globe and tension. Meanwhile, a changeable environment request company owning a more flexible logistics capability. The logistics outsourcing can improve the core competence of the company as well as the flexibility of its logistics capability. So a correct logistics outsourcing decision is very important for the company development. This paper put forward an outsourcing decision model based on how to improve the companies' core competence. The model was recommended after a analysis of the decision theory and the core competence research. Two cases were studied at the end of the paper.
