Change Of Rural Households' Income And Its Relation To Labor Employment In Sheyang County

Based on the analysis of change of rural households' income in 1985-2005 in Sheyang County, the basic regular pattern of rural households' income variation and its relation to labor employment are studied.The change of rural households' income structure and labor employment in time series in 1985-2005 are studied to analyze their relation. Relation of rural households' income with some labor-related factors is studied in terms of rural households survey data made by government statistics organization in 2005 with statistic software of Matlab.The results shows that rural households' net income has been increased in general and enjoy diversified trend and significant stage characteristics. Although the constant change of labor employment structure and increase number of labor employment in non-agriculture, but income from agriculture is the main part of rural households' income and non-agriculture employment has little influence on the total income in Sheyang County.Regression analyzing result shows that the rural households' net income has significant positive parabola relation with average age of household, ratio of non-agriculture employment and whether they work in Sheyang County or not, and positive relation with interaction of average age of household and working time.Although the non-agriculture employment play little role in rural households' income in Sheyang County, but it has large potentiality, more emphasis should be placed on the rural labor non-agriculture employment while tapping the increasing potentiality of agriculture.
