Core staff is the person in a company who possesses the core technologies and skills, masters the core business, controls the key resources, has the skills or specialties cannot be replaced, can make a profound influence on the development of a company and stays a very important position in a company. Core staff is the foundation stones by which a company can win its competitive advantages. With China's entrance of WTO and the rapid development of globalization, during the rapid development of knowledge economy, human resources management is becoming more and more important in modern enterprise management, and the management of core staff has become a decisive factor that a company can keep developing in today's furious market competition.However, in the face of furious talent competition, a series of issues on human resources management occur to many companies: no pertinence towards core staff management, unfit compensation system, no perfect encouragement scheme, no good performance management system, lack the risk control of the demission of core staff, etc. All these issues may lead to a high core staff turnover rate and aċı´inferior situation during enterprise competition.With regard to these issues mentioned above, base on the systematic study of the conception and the importance of core staff, the issue of core staff management at present, the root causes of high turnover rate of core staff and the turnover cost, this article puts forward some effective basic measures on bettering the management of core staff. At last, it provides an actual case (the revolution of A company's core staff management) to verify the effectiveness of the measures highlighted before.
