Study On Supply Chain Management Of Fossil Power Plant

As the competition among fossil power plants grows intensively, it is of increasing importance for power plants to enhance supply chain management. In this background, the thesis combines the general methods of supply chain management with the characteristics of fossil power plant, making analyses on the present conditions and developing trend of supply chain management in China's fossil power plants, the relationship between fossil power plant and coal supplier, the inventory management of fossil power plant and etc. Besides, it produces local and global optimization on the total inventory cost of fossil power plant and coal supplier, analyzes the optimization results and gives several suggestions on improving the supply chain management of fossil power plant. With detailed and scientific discussion, the thesis may be of some referent value for fossil power plants in renewing concept on the supply chain management, improving their competitiveness and finally realizing scientific management.
