Study On Core Competence Of IT Corporations: An Analysis On View Of Technological Innovation

Core competence has been a hot topic for both scholars and industrialists. Due to short term development, it has no mature theory structure and application frame. Therefore, it is difficult to tell, apply and cultivate core competence. Some scholars even believe that it is impossible to tell core competence in process. Anyway, it still has great significance to know core competence in practice.In IT field, competition is very fierce. Most corporations' survival date is shorter than that of traditional ones, which brings more challenge to them. Technology is very important to IT manufacturers. Technological innovation ability determines its product upgraded speed. Only through technology innovation, corporation can develop high quality, convenient and cheap products to feed consumers' taste. The article puts forward main problems and provides relevant ways form this point view. In China, there are some successful corporations like HuaWei, ZTE and Legend. But many ones including SiTong and Founder failed in competition. Some small ones can't survive a whole year. But some foreign corporations like HP and Samsung achieve great success.
