With the advent of information technology wave, informatization has been regarded as the 21st century's most important task by most countries. China also confirms a strategy to accelerate the process of industrialization and modernization by informatization. The informatization of enterprises is not only the microcosmic foundation but also the most important impetus of informatization. Meanwhile, with the rapid development of economic globalization and technological innovation, the number of strategic alliances between enterprises grows day by day, and knowledge alliance, which is regarded as the advanced stage of strategic alliance, has been paid more attention by domestic and foreign enterprises. A systemic study on the Development of Knowledge Alliance Enterprise Information Resources(DKAEIR) is of great theoretical and practical significance. This thesis takes complexity theories as guidance and the DKAEIR as object, and proposes a complexity analysis frame of DKAEIR. Taking the structure of knowledge alliance as a focal point, the thesis conducts a set of study around several questions such as "what kind of structure of knowledge alliance is able to achieve a higher level of development of information resources", and conducts a corresponding study of complex systems modeling and computer simulation. The conclusions of the thesis provide valuable guidance and reference, and will be of considerable help to both the decision-making of knowledge alliance enterprises and the formulation of related laws and regulations of the government. This thesis includes six chapters as follows:Chapter 1 introduces the background, the review of literature, the significance and contribution, as well as the framework of the thesis.Chapter 2 gives a systemic analysis of DKAEIR and its complexity, including the definition, four major research fields, three concept levels and two particularities of DKAEIR, as well as its complex system characteristics and complexity analysis frame. The complexity analysis frame includes four levels which are the level of knowledge alliances, the level of alliance agents, the level of information resource development, and the level of knowledge generation.Chapter 3 introduces the theories, methods and application of complex systems modeling, especially the NK-model and its application.Chapter 4 models, simulates and analyses the NK-model of DKAEIR, and concludes a series of laws of DKAEIR based on NK-model, such as "moderation & symmetry". Suggestions relative to the practice of knowledge alliance enterprises are also provided.Chapter 5 models, simulates and analyses the NK-model of DKAEIR under government, discusses the function and effects of the government and relative laws and regulations, and proposes basic principles of the formulation of these related laws and regulations based on NK-model.Chapter 6 gives a summary of the main findings, and points out the deficiencies of the current study and further research directions. In the course of the study, this thesis presents a new model—NK landscape model, as well as its characteristics, superiority and algorithms of generation. In addition, it also discusses four aspects need to be pay more attention to and improved of the NK-model's application in the field of social sciences.
