Study On The Exploitation Of Rural Tourism

China's modern rural tourism activities have already developed for more than 20 years. Especially since entering into the new century, rural tourism activities have generally been on the upsurge in almost all the areas of China under the unceasing impetus of tourism markets and the inspiration of many national policies. Meanwhile, the scale and the quality have also obtained comprehensive enhancement. Up to the present, rural tourism activities have become an important way of leisure and vacations for Chinese inhabitants.Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, is the political, economic, cultural, technological, education and financial centre of the province as well as the vice-provincial level city and the open coastal area approved by the state. Moreover, it is also one of China's first batches of historical and cultural cities, addressed as Chinese Favorable Tourist City by National Tourism Administration for its abundant tourism resources. With the booming development of national rural tourism, Jinan's outskirt rural tourism is also growing to take off.However, with the further development of rural tourism, the tourist demand level has also been continuously improving, which raises the new and much higher demands to the exploitation of rural tourism. The exploitation of domestic rural tourism, including that of Jinan City, is faced with various problems. It is necessary to conduct continual summing-up as well as exploration in theory and to learn from the advanced experiences in practice.My thesis makes a systematic summary of these basic theoretical issues of rural tourism and its exploitation on the basis of the above considerations, and under the guidance of these theories it particularly probes into the problems needing attention and the concrete development strategies and tactics in the process of exploiting Jinan's outskirt rural tourism.The theoretical innovation of my thesis is having done a systematic research on Jinan's outskirt rural tourism exploitation and proposed a great many development strategies. It is expected that the related theories on rural tourism could be further improved through the above studies. Moreover, this case study on Jinan's outskirt rural tourism is wished to provide a viable theoretical guidance to its sustained and healthy development and contribute to the conformity and promotion of Jinan's outskirt rural tourism.
