Establishment And Improving Of Flue-cured Tobacco Quality System Of Shanghai Tobacco (Group) Company

Since 1990's, with the fulfillment of large-scale technology reformation in domestic cigarette enterprises, the external appearance quantity of domestic cigarette had been improved obviously, but the internal quantity, especially for the stability of quantity, was poor compared with international advanced quality standard. Meanwhile, there was a trend that the quality of tobacco leaves produced in different area tended to similar and the original styles and characteristics were become unobvious or lost, and all types of tobacco leaves quality developed forward the same model which run counter to diversification of tobacco leaves quality targets. For this, Shanghai tobacco group company began to put focus on internal quality of tobacco leaves instead to external appearance quantity gradually.Based on comparative analysis of major chemical indices of tobacco leaves of recent three years and understanding the factors influencing internal quality of tobacco leaves, the quality system of tobacco leaves for Shanghai tobacco group company was established according to the requirements of quality of cigarette produced in Shanghai tobacco group company in this paper. Furthermore, the inspection and evaluation sub-systems of the quality system of tobacco leaves were improved gradually and the channel of exchanging quality information was established between cigarette industries and tobacco leaves producers by implementing of mis quality system in recent three years.With the establishing and implementing of quality system, the quality of tobacco leaves buied into Shanghai tobacco group company was under well macro-controlled. Meanwhile, it was helpful by implementing of quality system for tobacco leaves producers to clear and definite the quality targets, to adjust their production technologies and management practices timely and properly and thus to enhance the quality of the tobacco leaves raw material; and also was helpful to favorite combination of research units and production units to accelerate extension of technology. Moreover, it was helpful for quality inspection units to work more standardization and thus to enhance inspection technology.
